| Site de Sun / J2EE Design Patterns A design pattern describes a proven solution to a recurring design problem, placing particular emphasis on the context and forces surrounding the problem, and the consequences and impact of the solution.
This website provides a palette of patterns you can use in the context of designing J2EE applications with the Java Enterprise BluePrints. Every now and then, new patterns will be added and new insights will be incorporated into the current patterns, so check back often for updates.

| Portland Pattern Repository We're writing about computer programs in a new stylistic form called pattern languages. The form has many internal references which map well to hypertext links. We've added links to published (or soon to be published) documents.
This repository is maintained by Ward Cunningham, who, along with his colleague Kent Beck, was one of the pioneers of the software patterns movement.
